Chelsea Harbour- Studio Tex- Stephen Doughty and Jane Kennedy MD

Only samples used- books available but not as useful/ on show.
Samples out so no time wasted looking through book. No storage space so samples cut and ready
Come in with a moodboard/ idea, use samples- easy to change and move around
Library feeling so can mix and match, put things back
Future:
A big iPad table with catalogue. Create moodboard and choose samples from store.
Jane- interior designer by trade for commercial. didnt like flicking through books personally- hard to see and BORING
Industry is wasteful- books encourage waste as there is a limited life span. With samples it is easy to reinvent/ upcycle
Quick to change store around when new collection comes in. Easy to manage
Always find a use for old stock- notepads, cushions etc
Innovative layout- homely and welcoming
Go into store, find out about fabrics stories, inspirations eg glass bottle fabric
Young people are confident in everything they do so it makes sense for them to be style confident.
